My name is Richard Bailey and I have been a publican for sixteen
years, six of those at the Rose and Crown, Great Waltham. I share
the running of the Rose with my fellow licensee Kate Honeywood.
Previously, I worked in farming and related corporate entertaining. I
remain passionate about country pursuits and maintaining the rural
traditions of the Essex Countryside.
At
the Rose we pride ourselves on our warm, friendly welcome, Real
Ales and a country menu featuring partridge, pheasant, mutton and
venison, when in season.
